5th Anniversary Service

On 26th June, we came together to celebrate.

The Eight Saints Cluster has been together for 5 years.

Approximately 100 people gathered together in Perran-ar-Worthal village hall for the celebration as the rain sadly meant calling off the open air elements of the service.  However, spirits were not dampened and we had a lovely service including bellringers, singers, musicians, Open the Book, a traditional reading, beautifully relevant prayers and an uplifting, amusing sermon and blessing from Bishop Tim.  The congregation were able to really sing up accompanied by the musicians and led by the singers, and I have it on good authority that it sounded great from outside the hall. (I think that is a good thing!)

Afterwards we all had time to socialise over a delicious barbecue. It's not often that a couple of hours after a church service is finished you are having to persuade people to please leave and go home!
