Devoran

Welcome to the church of St John the Evangelist

and St Petroc in the Parish of Devoran

Devoran Lane, Devoran, Cornwall TR3 6PA

The church of St John (the Evangelist) and St Petroc is the parish church for the villages of Carnon Downs, Devoran, Point and West Penpol.

It was built in the 1850s and was designed by J Pearson who went on to be the architect for Truro Cathedral.  In the 1990s a new parish centre was added with meeting room, kitchenette and lavatories.   The church seats about 100. Now sadly, the church needs some serious work on its tower, porch and gables to stop water penetration and to reverse the damage already caused.  You can find out how you can help here.

We are a welcoming congregation.  Our schedule of services includes both Book of Common Prayer and Common Worship ones, as well as a family-friendly All Age Worship.
